As you can see, Sean Connery Online is back with a new layout. Hope you like it. (Comments?)
It has been more than a month since Sean Connery announced he would not return for Indiana Jones 4. Very sad news ... We all thought this role could pull him out of retirement, the 'Mafia style offer' he was talking about. Many fans were very dissapointed and still hoping for a miracle. But at (almost) 77, Sean earned his retirement. Fortunately he left behind a wealth of material for us to enjoy and to appreciate him forever.
... still, a quick cameo would be GREAT :) |

08.25.06 - Well today is Sir Sean's 76th birthday, and we wish him a great and pleasant day in Edinburgh (he will be honoured today by Scotland's screen industry)!

The American Film Institute awarded Sean a Lifetime Achievement award at the
Kodak Theater in L.A. last Thursday! Connery received a Crystal
Globe for Outstanding Artistic Contribution to World
Cinema. The event will be broadcast on USA cable
network on June 21st.

- Some
scary news today. Sean is now
recovering from a health scare after a tumour was
discovered. The surgery was scheduled to take place at
the end of last year but was postponed until January
after he slipped and injured his ribs. Only Connery's
friends and close family knew about his health scare.

01.02.06 - Happy new year, everyone! Let's all wish for some new
Sean Connery projects in 2006 ... Well actually, Sean is
already working on one, 'Sir
Billi the Vet', his first animated feature, will be
released this summer. Check out the first footage in a
video report here.
Great news for SC Online
too. Ellen, webmistress of 'Ellen's Sean Connery page',
decided to close her site and donate her complete
collection to our website. I'll try to put everything
online as soon as possible, meanwhile check out the
extended filmography page,
with Sean's theatre & television works. Thanks so
much Ellen ...
